Delighted to have been asked to perform selected extracts from An Evening with Charlotte Bronte, as part of "Pizza, Poetry, the Spoken Word, Live music and Film!" at The Pizza Margherita in Lancaster. An event to mark the end of the current exhibition ‘Treasured’ by artist Kirsten Jones, Priscilla Jones,  Alice Mulvany and animator Ginny Koppenhol.

The evening will help raise awareness and funds for Defying       Dementia.


Even though it's been quite awhile since posting, Little Red Hen has been quite busy in recent weeks and has just completed her first short experimental film 'Sand Wishes', shot entirely on location at Morecambe Bay. Cut and paste link to veiw trailer now!

Well, that's a wrap! It's been a great experience performing in Bronte Country, and now it's time for Little Red Hen to take a well-earned rest.

Delighted to announce that Heath and Harebell gift shop is sponsoring An Evening with Charlotte Bronte this summer in July.

Heath and Harebell

is a gift shop, located in Haworth, selling Brontë related souvenirs and gifts.

Plans for bringing An Evening with Charlotte Bronte home to Bronte Country are underway, and our crowdfunding campaign will be launched next month, until then  Happy New Year!!!


After the successful run of Lizzy Bennet Remembers this summer (which ended a little sooner than anticipated), it's now time to make plans for the new year. Lizzy Bennet is taking a well earned rest, and will be going into redevelopement for the future. Until then, Little Red Hen will be revisiting An Evening with Charlotte Bronte. 2016 marks 200 years since Charlotte Bronte's birth, and it is perfect opportunity to take the show home to Howarth, watch this space...............................


We are delighted to announce our brand new solo show, Lizzy Bennet Remembers, Join Lizzy Bennet on a rather special day, as she recalls well-loved scenes and passages from Jane Austen's Classic Pride & Prejudice. 

This production will be heading to The Buxton Fringe in July.

An Evening with Charlotte Bronte is now wrapped up until next year. A huge thank you to Lancaster Library and all who supported the show.

2016 marks 200 years since Charlotte Bronte’s Birth. Little Red Hen Theatre is hoping to tour this production next year, and bring it to a wider audience. There will be an update for the tour later this year, so keep an eye on the website!

                                       Buxton Fringe Review certainly made Charlotte Bronte's work feel more accessible and real. The time flew by, and I left feeling I could have happily stayed and listened to more.
